Faculty of Allied Health Sciences
The foundation of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences (FAHS) at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University Gorakhpur (MGUG) was laid down in 2022 with its three constituent departments viz. Department of Biotechnology, Department of Biochemistry and Department of Microbiology. The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences offers UG, PG and PhD programs designed as per NEP2020 with multiple entry-exit options and interdisciplinary approach.
The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences is committed to provide the highest quality teaching, learning and research innovation environment to the students of Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Medical Microbiology and Medical Biochemistry by mean of class room teaching, clinical training, practical exposure through highly equipped laboratories and community exposure.
In addition, department conduct seminars, workshops and conferences on latest advancement in the respective field of healthcare. The highly qualified and experience professionals of FAHS and well-equipped laboratories and collaboration with hospitals, medical colleges, reputed educational/research institutes and university provide the vast opportunities to its student to grow as highly competent and skillful professionals and contribute high quality healthcare services in society and community. In addition, students are trained to acquire interpersonal and professional communication skills and to gain awareness of professional, ethical and social responsibilities.
Most interestingly, students gain first-hand research experience through a highly innovative project as a part of the curriculum that often leads to scientific publications and patents.
